Friday Post, 11/29/13

This hop is hosted by Billy over at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Every week bloggers answer a question and then visit other blogs that are participating.  This week's question is:

Do you leave a link back to your blog when you participate in weekly memes?

A: If I'm hoping along, then I usually leave my link. It is a hop and would like others to view my answer, especially when I'm taking my time to look at theirs. I simply copy and paste my link.

Book Beginnings on Friday is hosted by Rose City Reader and The Friday 56 is hosted at Freda's Voice.

 Sia by Josh Grayson

The beginning: "Wake up! A tiny, annoying tickle on my face.
No, no, no...Need sleep. Go away."

Page 56: "I stare out the window, both terrified and entranced. What kind of person had I been to earn so much love? I must have been something really special."
The opening lines really reminded me of me every time my alarm goes off to go to work. I had to chuckle for a moment there. The rest of the first chapter, though, is quite a mystery. It really grabs the reader's attention.

  1. I always like to see a link back to another person's blog. Makes it so much easier to find the post.

I don't like when it goes to Google Plus. I want the direct link to the blog. :)

Good beginning. My LINKS to both posts on my blog are below.

    Enjoy your weekend.

  2. I leave links back when participating in memes. I like having people leave them on my blogs too. I don't like to play "hunt the commenter" if I want to make a return visit.

Come see what I am spotlighting at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!

  4. Like Elizabeth said, I don't like when the link takes you to the person's G+ page.
