Friday Hops, Sept. 21st
Crazy-for-Books is running this Book Blogger Hop to help connect book bloggers with other fellow book bloggers. Here's this week's question:
Blogging Question: What is one thing that your blog readers probably do not know about you?
Okay...I was (and still am) a HUGE Sailor Moon fan. Yes, I loved my blonde girl with meatballs on her head.
Gosh, I used to own the comics, posters, stickers, bookmarks, pencils, trading cards, and anything that had Sailor Moon on it. Right now, I only own the whole series on DVD.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
Q: What hyped up book do you think was worth all the talk?
Harry Potter!!!! I am still reading the series but I am in love with it! I can't believe it took me so long to finally start reading the whole series. I read the first book back over 10 years ago. I didn't pick up the rest of the series but just a few months ago.
Tee Hee! Sailor Moon! I loved that comic! And great pick with Harry Potter! I haven't read it yet, I'm waiting till my children grow a little so we can read it together!

Happy Friday!
Oh and I'm an old follower! Hooray! =D
DeleteI used to be a huge huge fan of the X-Files. I've only seen all 9 seasons about 10 or 15 times each...with the first two seasons probably double that.
ReplyDeleteMulder was AWESOME.
Hi Vonnie!! Really like the look of your blog. It's awesome. I am a new follower and if you hop on over to my blog you will see that one of my choices coincides with yours.
ReplyDeleteMarilyn @ Marilyn's Mystery Blog
Awesome! I adored this show as a kid myself! My friend and I even made up a game that was similar to this, although we based our "powers" off nature. You know, so we weren't totally copying it!

Thanks for the follow, returned the favor and I have actually never read any of the Harry Potter Books
ReplyDeleteHopping through. new follower! I'm so glad that you're loving the HP series. Which book are you on?
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I'm on the 5th book.
DeleteOh my gosh, I was obsessed with Sailor Moon when I was around 13. I've only seen the English dubbed versions, and I hear the subtitled ones are better, but I loved that show! Also, I admit to totally crushing on Darien/Tuxedo Mask.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, I completely agree with you on HP. I love me some HP, and I love seeing so many people list it today.
Here's my Follow Friday
The subtitles are better because the English version was extremely cut to make it "kid" appropriate. Sailor Moon was not suppose to be a kid cartoon; it was only made so here in the U.S.
DeleteAhhh I loved Sailer Moon when I was little! I used to dress up and pretend to be her. xD I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books, but I know that there really popular. Thanks for visiting my blog! Following back. :D

Hi, Vonnie!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, thank you SO much for commenting on my Book Blogger Hop, and then following my blog! I'm now following yours, and commenting back.
What FABULOUS blog design you have!! Totally unique!! The figure of the woman raising the goblet in the air is very familiar -- she's on the cover of one of the books in my humongous collection. However, the title of the book overs up part of her body. Where did you get her from?
The ladies along the margins are very cool-looking, too! The one on the right also looks familiar -- I've seen on a Shabby Blogs design template.
Great that you've 'mixed and matched' so well!!
I've never heard of "Sailor Moon" before. (You're probably thinking what planet I've been on, right?) Is she a Manga character? Please forgive my ignorance....lol. What happened to all those posters, stickers, bookmarks, and other goodies? Gee, I would NEVER let such things out of my possession!
I TOTALLY agree with you about Harry Potter!!!! I LOVE THE HARRY POTTER SERIES!!! YAY!!!! ALL of the books in the series are DEINITELY worh all the hype, and so are the movies!!!! Gosh, I think I'n suddenly getting inspired to have a Harry Potter marathon weekend...but I have to plan it. I do have some blogging to do THIS weekend!!
Thanks for sharing!! : )
I did not create this background. I actually got it from http://blo64rt.blogspot.com/ who create awesome blog backgrounds.
DeleteI gave my Sailor Moon comics to my little sister. The other stuff I gave away because I felt that I was too old to have these things.
All this talk of Harry Potter makes me want to reread it :).
ReplyDeleteMy FF
Hahaha. My sister (my older sister) and her son who is 32 go to all kinds of Anime conventions. He even taught himself Japanese just watching the DVD's! I also have a young friend who is spending this year in Japan in a study abroad program who LOVES Sailor Moon, too.
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter is epic and wonderful! I listened to most of the books which were narrated by Jim Dale. It was a great way to experience Harry Potter.
both awesome choices! thanks so much for coming by my blog! always nice to meet someone new!
ReplyDeleteI do really love Harry Potter!!
ReplyDeleteNew follower here!
... so... are you excited about the roboot of Sailor Moon????
http://littlesqueed.blogspot.com/2012/09/feature-follow_21.html
