The High Summer Read-a-Thon was hosted by Seasons of Reading. I enjoyed this one a lot because it was laid back. I could go on my own pace yet at the same time it encouraged me to finish some old reads and start on new ones.
So here were my goals:
Read 2-3 physical books
Listen to 2 audiobooks
Did I accomplish them?
I finished reading these (no reviews yet):
And got started on these ones (I'm halfway done with all of these):
Not bad, eh? I did better than I thought. I think I will participate in another of Seasons of Reading's read-a-thons. :)
Wow, you did great during the High Summer Read-A-thon. I look forward to reading your reviews. The Halloween Tree and Romeo an/or Juliet sound intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI went rogue on the High Summer Read-A-Thon and didn't even touch the books I planned to finish reading last week. Instead, I started and finished two audiobooks, which I've already reviewed. Plus, started another two books, which I made decent progress in during the read-a-thon.
Thanks, Lisa!
DeleteSometimes we need to go rogue in order to read. ;) I tried to comment on your page earlier but my internet went down. Heading over now. :)
Wow great job babe!
ReplyDeleteI read Finding Audrey and loved it!
I remember reading your review, Wendy. This is why I decided to listen to the audio. Thanks!
DeleteOh, I didn't realize it was the audio. How is it? Is the reader good?
DeleteSo far so good. I love how the reader portrays the mother. lol I should be done with it by tomorrow and hopefully review it by this weekend. I'm running behind my reviews.
DeleteAwesome, I will look for your review.
DeleteYou go girl! You did awesome during this read-a-thon!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks!
DeleteYou did a great job, Vonnie! I'm glad you enjoyed the laid back format. I like to make it about the reading. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in. I hope to see you in October for FrightFall.
Yes, the laid back format did not stress me out. I was able to push myself yet still enjoy my reads. Thank you again for hosting!
