My TBR List: July's Vote

MyTBRList

My To-Be Read List is hosted by Michelle @ Because Reading. Each month you pick three books on your TBR list and people vote on the one you should read that month. What a great way to get me to read more from my pile, right?

Okay, okay...I'm a little late on June's review. I actually finished the book three days ago but I've been lazy to write a review for it. But I finally wrote it! If you are interested to read it, then click here.

Now, let's move on to July's TBR reads.

For this month, I want to focus on books that have the ocean or the beach on the cover. It has been really hot these past two weeks, so being near the water or at least imagining being by the water sounds refreshing!

Book 1

I bought this one years ago when I started reading the Outlander series. I became obsessed with anything that had to do with men in kilts. This one is about a laird's daughter, Margaret, who is about to get married but something tragic happens. Now, she has to put her shattered clan together again and save her heart from a half-Irish, half-Norse warrior.

Book 2

This is another book that I bought years ago. It sounds like a heart-wrenching story. Somer is a newly wed physician in San Francisco who finds out that she cannot have children. Kavita is a poor mother in India who gives up her daughter to save her daughter's life. Asha gets adopted by Somer creating a strong link between the two adult women.

Book 3

This is an ebook that I had no idea was in my Nook. The cover looks amazing and the synopsis sounds interesting. However, it's a YA book and I haven't had much luck with those lately. But I can give this one a try. It's about a girl named Cameron who can read minds. She goes to a secret haven where she can be with others like her. Unfortunately, these people want to use her instead.

Now, it's time to vote!
