http://images.gr-assets.com/books/1476361281l/30985898.jpg

Shadow House will find you . . .

Poppy, Marcus, Dash, Dylan, and Azumi are all trapped within Shadow House, a sinister estate where past and present intertwine. As they fight to find a way out, the kids think the ghosts of the house are the greatest danger they face. Little do the kids know it's the secrets they're each hiding that will prove even more lethal.

They're going to have to come face to face with their fears if they stand any hope of escaping the house alive. Is there anyone or anything in the house they can trust? Or is all hope disappearing, too...

Enter Shadow House . . . if you dare.

Audiobook: Dark Lover by JR Ward

Image result for dark lover audiobook Read by Jim Frangione
Duration: 13 hours & 36 minutes

The first novel of J. R. Ward's New York Times bestselling Black Dagger Brotherhood series features a unique take on vampire lore and heavy doses of sensuality. The vampire Darius fears for the life of his half-breed daughter, who is unaware of her unusual destiny. To oversee her transformation, Darius seeks help from Wrath, a dangerous loner and the world's only purebred vampire.

My Thoughts: I first read this book years ago and I remembered loving it. I went on to read the next two books in the series and I couldn't wait to read the fourth book. But like I do with the majority of series, I always stop at the third book (I guess I'm a trilogy type of girl). However, the Black Dagger Brotherhood series kept calling out to me. I wanted to finish the it so I had to retrace my steps back to book one because...for the life of me, I could not remember what it was about! So instead, I decided to re-read the first book as an audio to help me remember what the series was about.

I'm back!

I'm back! Did you miss me? Not really? Oh well...That's okay. lol
For anyone who might be reading this, I've been inactive these past few months because I was finishing my credential program. And yes...I finished!!!! I am so thrilled to be done after two long years of hard work and staying away from things that I love to do: dance, hike, read, and blog.

I was so excited to be done that I went to the library this morning and checked out all of these even though I have hundreds of books at home:
