Teaser Tuesdays #52

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

Dance the Moon Down by R.L Bartram

"The only time anyone negotiates is when they know they can't defeat you in any other way. We'll only achieve equality through direct action, not words!"

page 79

"I've just travelled the length and breath of four villages looking for employment, only to be told that because I'm a woman, I can't do the work of a man. Therefore, I've come here today to ask if I may be allowed to do the work of a horse."

p.120

This book has such great quotes and it's a very good book as well. It has taken me longer than usual, but I am almost done with it. It has me very emotional. Expect a review on this later on in the day.

Catalyst by Marc Johnson

"You're going to be a wizard now, my boy. One of the first things you need to learn is that you will only be limited by your imagination and will."

p.59

I had always thought those in town who worshipped one god were ignorant. It just seemed like the world and the heavens were far too much for only one god to handle."

p. 62

This was a fun read. Don't forget to enter the giveaway for this book.

  5. I fell sorry for the woman in the first book. The second book sort of got me riled up with the quote about God.
