Do you accept books for review only from publishers or do you accept book review requests from authors as well?
A: At the moment, I am accepting either from publishers or authors. I'm not sure if this would change sometime in the future, but I have started to deny requests due to being swamped with reviews.
Book Beginnings on Friday is hosted by Rose City Reader and The Friday 56 is hosted at Freda's Voice.
The beginning: "Zayn could feel the water pounding on his back as it poured from the walls. He sat in his own living hell."
Page 56: "Zayn showed up at my house, and he wouldn't leave. I locked myself in my room, and Zayn broke down the door. I don't remember much, but I remember it flying at me."
This is a sequel to Blood Purple, which I quite enjoyed, and I would be posting my review on Sunday. It's interesting to read about Arabic vampires.

ReplyDeleteI also accept review requests from authors as well as publishers, although I am quite swamped at the moment, so although I have read the book, the actual reviews are becoming rather back-logged.
I have read some excellent books, from genres which I may otherwise not have tried and become friends with new bloggers and authors alike, which has proved to be most enjoyable and very interesting.
Whilst your book this week probably isn't one for me, I do think that your lines are most intriguing, especially the opening ones and of course that amazing cover is certainly very creepy.
