Teaser Tuesday #66

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:
"Her eyes widened, she stepped back. Though her father had every right to do such a thing, he had always promised he would not."

Cruentus: Rise to Power by L.S. Broomfield, page 19

I was not too sure what to expect with this read. It's actually really interesting and I know it's going to be a fast read. I am still wondering what the cover has to do with the story though (I'm only on page 30).

  4. Ooh, that's a scary cover. Your comment that it has nothing to do with the story so far is interesting. I guess all will be revealed as you read more.
    Thanks for stopping by :)
