Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
"She looked back at the frame--no--mirror. The enthralling girl studied her with a confused frown. She stepped toward the glass, trembling as she lifted a hand. The girl on the other side reached toward her with shaking fingers.

I've had this book waiting for me for a while now for review. I am finally getting to it. It's supposed to be Jane Eyre with a supernatural twist. So far, it sounds spooky. :)
"Miriam's eyes flew open in horror and her pain was forgotten. Devin was a slight boy and the nightshirt made him seem all the smaller as he looked up at his father."
Fae: The Wild Hunt by Graham Austin-King, pg.7
Fae: The Wild Hunt by Graham Austin-King, pg.7
The first chapter of this book is hard to stomach since it deals with domestic violence. The writing is very well done though and it has peaked my interest. I will be posting a review up this Friday for the Blog tour.
Ooh, the tease from Moonless sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my TT.
Very interesting indeed but confusing.
DeleteOOOh nice teasers! The first one is especially chilling!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Chilling indeed :)
DeleteMoonless is intriguing -- I'm trying to imagine a supernatural Jane Eyre! I'd have a hard time reading Fae: The Wild Hunt because of the violence, but I might try it. You've piqued my curiosity.
ReplyDeleteMy Teaser is from THE FRIENDSHIP STAR QUILT.
So far, I think I'm enjoying Fae a lot more than Moonless. The first chapter is the only one that's a little hard to read. The rest is pretty good.
DeleteOoh, Moonless looks great. That cover is stunning.

ReplyDeleteWow! Great teaser! Two girls, within two different worlds with a mere glass in between, this is what I am getting and I'm curious with what will happen next!
