Teaser Tuesdays #98

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"I think that should tell us something, Eve. If Lucifer can make the garden rot, what will he do to us? "

Eve: In the Beginning by H.B. Moore

I am highly enjoying H.B. Moore's interpretation of the story of our first parents. I'm about done with this book. I should be posting a review in a few hours.

"Harry Potter rolled over inside his blankets without waking up. One small hand closed on the letter beside him and he slept on, not knowing he was special, not knowing he was famous, not knowing he would be woken in a few hours' time by Mrs. Dursley's scream as she opened the front door to put out the milk bottles, nor that he would spend the next few weeks being prodded and pinched by his cousin Dudley."

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling

I am re-reading this book because one could never have enough of Harry Potter. :)

What is your teaser?
