Little Free Library Adventures #2

Hello everyone!

I was asked to cover some belly dance classes at the Atomic Ballroom in Irvine, California this past Saturday. I had a lot of fun teaching the three levels of dancing and I got a good workout out of it. With all the adrenaline running through my veins, I decided to go on another small adventure in search of Little Free Libraries (especially since I am hardly in the Irvine area).

So I ended up stopping at two:

This one was inside of a lobby at Deerfield Park. This cute little purple Little Free Library only had a few books. The books were all for little kids. Instead of taking a book, I decided to leave a Dr. Seuss tote bag and an Italian cookbook for the adults. However, I did take this bookmark:

Next, I decided to look for a library that was at someone's home. I ended up finding this lovely one:

This library had SO many awesome books! It also had a little note ring for people to leave messages behind. I left a small message myself. Since I am doing major cleaning at my house at the moment, I was really good at only taking one book and a bookmark from the library:

I also left behind a book and a promotional bookmark as my trade. :)

I absolutely enjoy trying to track down these libraries. If you are interested in finding some in your area, make sure to visit their website:

  2. Oooo, looks like you had a lot of fun with both teaching belly dancing classes and finding two new Little Free Libraries! My sister in law and her family live in Irvine, so I'll have to find a Little Free Library next time I visit the area.

    1. There are two other LFLs in Irvine but I didn't stop by them because I was pressed for time. If you are ever in that area, hopefully you can find all of them. Heck, if you are ever in the area, we should meet for tea or coffee. :D
