Friday Posts #12

It's that time again! It's time to participate in the many memes happening on Fridays.
The first three memes will be focusing on the book...

The Name of This Book Is Secret
by Pseudonymous Bosch

Friday 56 is hosted by Freda's Voice and Book Beginnings is hosted by Rose City Reader. The idea is to share a sentence or so from the first page and the 56th page of the book you are currently reading!

Six Word Summary is hosted by the (book) supplier. The idea of the meme is to summarize a book using only six words.

Now I know I can trust
you.
You're curious. You're brave. And you're not afraid to lead a life of crime.

I started reading this children's book with a student I tutor. This will be a slow read (I only see this student once a week) but it will be fun!

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Every Friday, a question is asked and bloggers hop around to check out everyone's response. Here's this Friday's response:

Is everyday a reading day for you? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

Answer: I wish it was! I used to read many chapters per day. I have not done that in over three years! However, I do try to read at least three pages every night before going to bed. If I'm lucky, I read more.

Thanks for visiting my blog!!!

    1. Oh man...life definitely gets in the way. :( But hey! It's all. It also makes me appreciate reading more. It's a treat when I finally get to sit down with a cup of tea and simply enjoy the written word.

  11. Do you tutor students in reading? That's pretty cool! I don't think I'd pick up that book you mentioned solely by the those first few lines, unfortunately. Did the student pick it or you?

I also wish I read everyday. Right now, I've read everyday of the month except for the first of January. I struggle the most with reading on weekends, haha!

    1. I tutor students from K to 8th grade in all subjects. I actually found this book in one of my Little Free Library adventures and I knew this book would be perfect for my student. It didn't disappoint because my students was eager to read it and has begged me to give her the book when we are done reading. So, I picked a great book! lol

I'm glad that you get some reading done. I understand how crazy the weekends can get. Life simply gets in the way.
