Feliz Dia de los Muertos: Wrap-Up

I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween last night and enjoy these next two days of Dia de los Muertos. For those affected by Hurricane Sandy, I hope you are doing well!

In the month of October, I did not receive any RAKs but I was able to send some books to my lovely friend Sarah from Sawcat's Book Blog. These are the books I sent her, which I hope she likes:

3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
4. "A Reminiscence of Dr. Samuel Johnson" by H.P. Lovecraft
5. "Polaris" by H.P. Lovecraft
6. "Beyond the Wall of Sleep" by H.P. Lovecraft
7. "Memory" & "Old Bugs" by H.P. Lovecraft
8. If Teacups Could Talk: Sharing a Cup of Kindness with Treasured Friends by Emilie Barnes

I am super proud to have been able to finish the Harry Potter series for the first time and I am in love with it.

  2. I need to find my copy of In Cold Blood. I think I pulled it out before Banned Book Month, and not sure where it ended up. Year of Wonders is waiting for me also, but it might have to wait a bit longer.

  3. Ooh, In Cold Blood is such a disturbing book. Wonderful, but disturbing.

It's wonderful that you were able to send out two books to Sarah. :) I'm sorry it was one of those slow months in return for you, consider it stocking up on the Book Karma. It looks like you're going to have one busy November - happy reading!
