My Teaser:
Read by Jim Frangione
Duration: 13 hours & 36 minutes
The first novel of J. R. Ward's New York Times bestselling Black Dagger
Brotherhood series features a unique take on vampire lore and heavy
doses of sensuality. The vampire Darius fears for the life of his
half-breed daughter, who is unaware of her unusual destiny. To oversee
her transformation, Darius seeks help from Wrath, a dangerous loner and
the world's only purebred vampire.
My Thoughts: I first read this book years ago and I remembered loving it. I went on to read the next two books in the series and I couldn't wait to read the fourth book. But like I do with the majority of series, I always stop at the third book (I guess I'm a trilogy type of girl). However, the Black Dagger Brotherhood series kept calling out to me. I wanted to finish the it so I had to retrace my steps back to book one because...for the life of me, I could not remember what it was about! So instead, I decided to re-read the first book as an audio to help me remember what the series was about.
Illustrated in black-and-white. When her parents can't afford a new pet,
seven-year-old Janie invents one. Her new pretend dog is Henry, an
invisible Great Dane who eats invisible food bought with invisible
money. Then some mysterious events--and perhaps a touch of magic--bring
the invisible Henry to life.
Okay...here are some way over-due reviews on some audios that I listened to while finishing school:

My Teaser:
I'm back! Did you miss me? Not really? Oh well...That's okay. lol
For anyone who might be reading this, I've been inactive these past few months because I was finishing my credential program. And yes...I finished!!!! I am so thrilled to be done after two long years of hard work and staying away from things that I love to do: dance, hike, read, and blog.
I was so excited to be done that I went to the library this morning and checked out all of these even though I have hundreds of books at home:
Okay...*sigh*
Here is another round of mini reviews for you since I cannot find the time or motivation to write full reviews for each one. I do hope that my brief thoughts can shine a little light on these wonderful books.

This was a cute and super quick story of a boy named Suds. He was entering the third grade, the grade known to be the "Angels." He wanted to be the perfect Angel and wanted to be the first in his class to receive the halo.
