There was only one challenge today:

Bookish Wedding
Hosted by Harley Bear Book Blog

Description:  It's all questions about which of your favorite characters you'd invite to your wedding if you were to marry your top book boyfriend/girlfriend.

1. Which fictional character would you marry?
James Fraser from the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. He is tall, sexy, strong, caring, loyal, and has a freakin' Scottish accent! *sigh*

2. Who would be your Maid of Honor or Best Man?
Marcela from Becoming Latina in 10 Easy Steps by Lara Rios. I completely relate to her character and I feel that she would know exactly what I want for my wedding. Plus we would get along very well.

3. Which fictional world would you want to get married in?
Hmmm...perhaps the world of Mr. Gatsby. I feel that the wedding will be very loud and happy. It will be very extravagant especially if the wedding was held in Gatsby's home.

4. Who would you pick to play the music at your wedding?
I don't think I've read many books with musical characters. How about Erik the Opera Ghost from Phantom of the Opera? He plays the organ and the violin. I will have him play the violin though at my wedding.

5. Who would be your photographer?
Miss Peregrine from Miss Pregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I'm not sure if she was the one who took all those strange pictures of the children, but if she did then I know she would capture many great moments at the wedding.

6. Who would you sit at the singles table (and hope they'd fall in love)?
Joy from Dreams of Joy by Lisa See and Nayir from Finding Nouf by Zoe Ferraris. Joy has gone through so much and her ex-husband did not appreciate her. She deserves to be happy with her baby daughter and I feel Nayir will be perfect for her. He sees women as something precious. He is shy but I know that his caring heart will do anything to make Joy feel special. I also think that he would accept and love Joy's daughter.

7. Who would be your flower girl or ring bearer?
My flower girl will be Sunny from A Series of Unfortunate Events because I think she is adorable. I also know that she will take her job seriously and would bite whoever is not doing what they are supposed to be doing.

8. Who would you want to plan the bachelorette/bachelor party?
Though she's not a fictional character but I loved the person she portrayed herself in her book. I will pick Amy Sedaris, the actress. In her book, I Like You, she explains how to be the perfect hostess giving hilarious tips. I feel that she will make the bachelorette party extremely fun with all her insanely ideas.

9. At the wedding, who would be the first on the dance floor?
If it's not me then it will have to be Catherine and Kitty from Pride and Prejudice. They were always eager to go to parties and dance in the book so I figure they'll be the first ones on the dance floor.

10. Who would give a speech or toast?
Dumbledore :)
He would give a very inspiring and magical speech.

11. Who would catch the bouquet or garter?
The bouquet will have to be Catherine and Kitty again since they are eager to get married.
