Bout of Books 15: Day 2

Bout of Books
Bout of Books is an awesome read-a-thon that encourages me to read. Want to participate? Sign up here.  You have until the end of Tuesday to sign up.

Today's challenge is:
Would You Rather hosted by Writing My Own Fairy Tale

Would you rather:
Lend books to someone who dog-ears pages or to someone who reads with cheesy Cheetos fingers?
Eew!!! NO!!! No one touches my books with dirty hands!! So I guess I rather lend books to someone who dog-ears the pages.

Would you rather:
Be able to meet one character of your choice or meet one author of your choice?
Ooh...tough one! Umm...I guess it will a character since meeting authors can be done at book signings.

Would you rather:
Never be allowed in a book store again or never be allowed in a library again?
I don't like this one...Umm...book store. I can always buy books online. Plus, I'm broke so I need the library.

Would you rather:
Have to choose one of your favorite characters to die in their book or have to pick one of your favorite couples to break up in their book?
I rather have couples break up instead of a favorite character dying. At least with a break up, there could still be a chance for them to hook up again.

Would you rather:
Be required to read Twilight once a year for the rest of your life or The Scarlet Letter once a year for the rest of your life?
I haven't read the Scarlet Letter but I've heard horror stories. I guess I'll choose Twilight.

How is BoB going for you?

  1. That's a tough would you rather! Good luck with your Bout of Books goals. I hope it's a good one for you!

  2. I have yet to read the Scarlet Letter either. I did read the graphic novel version to get the gist. Seemed okay, but I know the writing style for the novel is completely different so I could not fairly decide my fate.

    1. I've encountered the gist of the Scarlet Letter through various sources to know what the story is about. I don't think I'll be too fond of it.

  3. I haven't read Scarlet Letter either, so I wasn't sure which one I would choose between Twilight.

    Here's my Bout of Books.

    1. I picked Twilight because I knew what to expect.

  4. You're doing really well, having finished 2 books already. I love your challenge answers because there are some really tough choices to be made there. I've not read the Scarlet Letter either and haven't heard much about it at all but your comment has made me really curious.
Good luck for the rest of the readathon!

    1. Thank you for the encouragement! I am proud that I finished 2 and I am super eager to get more read :D
