Mini Reviews: Children's Christmas Book Series by Dan Jackson

It's Christmas Eve and what better way to spend the morning but reading? Today, I got to read three children's Christmas themed books written by Dan Jackson:

Santa's Sleigh Technology,
 The Lost Christmas Gift,

If Santa's Reindeers Were Cats

Hooo. The reindeer candies container…what a trick! When Santa wants to make his sleigh go faster, all that he has to do is to throw some special candies up in the air... And off we go Rudolph, Dasher, Donner and Blitzen.. so much faster.
But listen my friend…I will tell you a secret…Santa also has a feast in secret…he eats some of the candies too…but don’t you worry…there is enough for all…

This kindle e-book is suitable as a read aloud book for preschoolers or a self-read book for beginner readers and Great as Christmas Book for kids.

My Thoughts: Have you ever wondered what Santa has in his sleigh? This book gives a glance as to what is in Santa's sleigh. Not only is Santa traditional with his list and a hot chocolate cup holder, but is also up-to-date with his GPS and tablet. Even Santa needs to embrace the latest technology.

This book can settle the minds of curious children when concerning Santa's sleigh. It is an easy read for any child to read and still it's fun enough for an adult to read to a child. The ending is surprising.

Great book about Patience .

“Wake up. Wake up!” said Santa's wife to the sleeping Santa. "It's almost 3:00p.m."
Santa was enjoying his cozy bed, but it was time to get up. Christmas was around the corner, and there were countless gifts to deliver and many children awaiting his arrival.

My Thoughts:  This was a cute story of Santa Claus rushing to deliver the gifts but ended up having a dilemma. When he had one kid left, Santa realized that the kid's present was missing. Santa then surprised the child and taught the child an important lesson: Patience.

I liked the storyline and theme very much, but I was not too thrilled about the editing errors and images in this book. I found myself cringing every time I encountered an error. Also, the pictures used to illustrate the story were weird and inconsistent. A delightful story, but would have been better with more editing.

Funny Christmas Sentences for Christmas
What do Santa’s elves read? Catalogs.
What if Santa’s reindeer where cats? Mrs. Clause would feed them Mice Cream

My Thoughts: This one was my favorite of the Christmas Book Series for it was silly. It wasn't a story but more of a joke book. The jokes were about cats and how they relate to Christmas. Some of these were very clever while others made me roll my eyes. I couldn't help but laugh at some of the puns.

The pages are filled with cute pictures of cats that would delight any kid. I could easily image children reading this book, giggling, and admiring the cats.  It sure puts a smile on one's face.
