Book Blogger Hop is the creation of Jen from Crazy for Books. Since October, the
weekly hop has been hosted by a variety of bloggers. The next two weeks, the hop is
hosted by Anglers Rest.
This week's question is:
Apart from being readers, many of us collect books on a specific subject or by a particular author. What books or which author do you collect?
Apart from being readers, many of us collect books on a specific subject or by a particular author. What books or which author do you collect?
I collect all kinds of books but there is one author whom I just simply buy her books no matter what. This author is Anne Rice. I fell in love with her back when I was 13 reading The Vampire Lestat. Since then, I've made sure to buy every single one of her books even the ones that are not so good. The only two books that I don't own in my collection of hers is her biographical Christian book and her newest one on Interview with the Vampire that came out this month. I don't think that I'll get her Christian book but I'm definitely getting the latter.
Follow Friday is a feature created by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It's a fun blog hop where you meet other
book bloggers and find people to follow. It's also another great way to earn new followers.
This week's question:
Activity! Who is your to die for book crush? What do you think they look like? Add an image to make us all happy.
I usually don't have crushes on any book characters. If I do, they usually don't last. Now, if I have to pick who's my book crush, then I'll have to pick Jaime Fraser from the Outlander series. Jaime is described to be over six feet tall, have red hair, and of course is Scottish. At first, I used to picture Gerard Butler as Jaime, but now I see Chris Hemsworth more like him (just with red hair).
Now, I have to wait and see who is going to play Jaime in the new TV series that's about to film of Diana Gabaldon's famous books.
Hey Vonnie....great answer. I know of Anne Rice.

My answer
I read Interview with a Vampire many years ago but I haven't kept up with Anne Rice's work. Vampires give me nightmares. I couldn't get the linky at the hop to work either- maybe there's a glitch somewhere in the linky process. Hopefully it will fix itself!
ReplyDeleteSusan @ Reading World.
Hmmm. That could work. Gerard is darker haired than I expect for Jamie.

Hi, from a new follower!
ReplyDeleteI really liked Jaime, but the heroine was awful: she didn't deserve him! :D

ReplyDeleteJamie... how I <3 you! LoL. That is a book that I love.
ReplyDeleteI actually have a first edition Vampire Lestat I was thinking of putting in a Giveaway when I reach 1000 followers. I've had it for like 15 years. I used to adore all those books and I have most of them in first editions. Funny though, I don't have Interview with a Vampire.
ReplyDeleteAnd Chris Hemsworth...yum! :)
I see the Book-blogger Hop is more and more popular on the FF hop - I might get in on that next week.

I loved Interview with the Vampire but I haven't read anything else of hers.
ReplyDeleteAlso, for Jamie from Outlander, I picture Kevin McKidd from Grey's Anatomy http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0571727/
