Teaser Tuesdays #30

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

"My other hand came up and the tip of the fountain pen plunged into the soft flesh underneath the snake's jaw. I fell backward to avoid the cavernous mouth and the massive creature continued forward, landing on the floor with the fountain pen still sticking out of its shiny white skin."

  8. What a GREAT teaser! It grossed me out, though, because I saw a vivid picture in my mind. I HATE snakes with a passion!! But I can see that these are skilled writers! They have created very strong reactions in all of us commenting!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting yesterday!! :)

    1. Yeah, they are pretty good writers. I know fairy tales have been done so much but I'm a sucker for them and this book is quite interesting.

  9. I wonder who's narrating right now lol, I really don't know what to expect of it, but I can't wait to read it.
