Merry Christmas 2014!

This is the message of Christmas: We are never alone. ~Taylor Caldwell
The presents are wrapped, the tamales are cooked, and the weather is a cooler than usual in Southern California.

I want to wish all of my readers a very Merry Christmas!

I hope that this holiday is filled with lots of love, joy, good health, and lots of books! Take the time to relax and enjoy your loved ones.

I'm going to leave you with my favorite children's Christmas book:

Too Many Tamales by Gary Soto

Have a happy holiday!

  4. Merry Christmas to you!! I hope you had a fabulous day celebrating Christmas today.

I'm drooling over the fact that you had tamales for Christmas, YUM!!

It's cold up here in Northern California too... We've been having temps in the low 50s and I'm not a cold weather person... We just moved up to NorCal from Santa Barbara in May and I'm already missing the warmer weather... Tonight it's supposed to drop to the low 30s. :-(

    1. If you were closer, I would have sent you some tamales.

I used to love the cold but I think this is the first year that my body can't handle it. Gosh...the sign that I'm getting old. Lol

It's been the 60s and 70s this week but the sun has been very bright. It was a beautiful Christmas day. I hope you stay warm, my dear!
