Teaser Tuesdays #96

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Sigh...again...I haven't participated in this meme in who knows when...I need to remedy that.
My Teasers:

The Broken Path by Cami Checketts

This is an interesting book so far since not only are there two love relationships that are forming, but the main one has a hero that's unexpected. I have to say, I like the change of what is considered a good male eye-candy.

Princess Ben by Catherine Gilbert Murdock

I am listening to the audio of this book and I'm having mixed feelings. I am liking the heroine tremendously but I'm not sure how I feel about the storyline.

What is your teaser?

  1. I sure hope that the guy in the first tease comes back. I haven't read too many books where there are two relationships developing. Sounds interesting. And how true is the second teaser.
Thanks for stopping by my TT, Vonnie. Hope you have a great Christmas.

    1. The few books that I've read that have more than one relationship developing are usually minor compared to the main heroes. In The Broken Path, the second relationship is minor but it's cute.

  3. Your teasers sound interesting. I particularly was intrigued by the second one. Thanks for stopping by my teaser Bad Monkey by Carl Hiaasen earlier. Have a good week!

  5. I love your teaser for Princess Ben and I can so attest to this statement! That's not to say that I am unhappily married ha ha! BUT, most the joy I have found through my marriage has derived from the most pressing and perilous moments my husband and I have had to endure. Which stands to reason, our love has only grown stronger :) Great post!
