Here's how my first week of the challenge went:
Monday 7/06: Not much. On Sunday we drove 16 hours to Portland for a funeral so today we did a lot of sleeping and visiting my sister-in-law (safely) who lost her newly wed husband.
Tuesday 7/07: Funeral day...I worked out my tear ducts. Does that count?
Wednesday 7/08: Went hiking at the Trail of Ten Falls. My husband and I hiked 7.6 miles. According to my health app, I walked about 26,345 steps. Yay, us!
Thursday 7/09: Nothing...drove 16 hours back to Southern California.
Friday 7/10: Slept and tried to hydrate all day due to our long drive the previous day.
Saturday 7/11: Sadly nothing...it was 100 degrees outside and our poor a/c was working overtime to keep our place in the 80s. Since my incident last summer, my body no longer tolerates heat. I get very ill (my body swells, headaches, nausea, and weak legs).
Sunday 7/12: It cooled down a bit so I was able to walk a mile around my neighborhood.
Goals for next week: Try to workout at least 3-4 days.
