The first day of the read-a-thon has gone by! I'm happy to say that I got some reading done even though I had family over and I had to work in the evening.
Here's how I did for the first day:
Finished- Battle Royale by Koushun Takami (I only needed 100 pages to finish). It was an awesome book. Not for everyone since it's very violent and graphic. I also watched the movie and wrote a review.
Finished- UnStrung by Neal Shusterman. This was a novella from the UnWind series. It was good but too short. Here's my review.How did you guys do?

Anyway, what I'm doing is posting updates on the kick-off post. I hope that's okay. The updates are at the bottom of the post announcing the read-a-thon. :)
I did pretty well, too! I only had about 50 pages to finish in both The Christmas Train by David Baldacci and Two From Galilee by Marjorie Holmes. I have posted reviews for both on my blog.
