Teaser Tuesday #24

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

"While the photograph was the same, the headline could not have been more different. Not many people get to read their own obituary."

  9. That's got me wondering. Is the narrator a ghost?

  10. No, not many at all -- although I believe Mark Twain was "feared dead" twice before his actual death. Actually, this appears to happen more often than one might think, since Wickipedia has a long list of such incidents. Good teaser, thanks for visiting!
